UPM Raflatac has earned multi-site certification to the first edition of the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System for its 10 labelstock production facilities. The certification complements UPM Raflatac’s existing certifications to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standards.

DNV, a global assurance and risk management company, awarded the certification on March 9, 2021, after completing a combination of in-person and remote audits in UPM Raflatac facilities worldwide.

Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety ISO certifications is the floor for international manufacturers in today’s complex supply chains. The nature of global supply chains is making certification to ISO standards increasingly important. Customers not only want to know if a product will satisfy their quality requirements, but also want to know about a product’s environmental impacts and the conditions under which it was made.
